But...figured I've to wait for any kind of action til '09 (since I'm doing IMWI '09)? You're right though - sounds right up my alley. Thanks for the info!!!xt4https://www.blogger.com/profile/15308795755496807869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17549049.post-16115648175615534172007-09-12T10:22:00.000-05:002007-09-12T10:22:00.000-05:00You should consider joining the "Becoming an Ironm...You should consider joining the "Becoming an Ironman 2008" team being organized by Endurance House (located in Greenway Station in Middleton). So far we have about 25 former and prospective Ironman competitors (from Kona qualifiers to first-time triathletes) -- all of whom will be doing the 2008 version of Ironman Wisconsin. The idea is for team members to share their experiences, advice, and comraderie along the Ironman journey, with the logistical and technical support and expertise that only a multisport retailer can bring to the table.

Whether you're doing the 2008 race or the one in 2009, this seems like something that would be right up your alley. Here's a link to their site (a work in progress):
http://endurancehouse.com/information.php?info_id=8. Feel free to call Jamie Osborn (team captain and store owner) if you have any questions -- he's a great guy and really just genuinely interested in getting people involved in the sport.

Good luck, and I'll see you out on the course.

- Andy Meehan
"Becoming an Ironman" Team MemberAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
