Woohoo! Spring is here...good weather for Cherry Blossom. Just picked up my race packet with yet another really ugle T-shirt that I will never wear. Do you think people draw out of a hat to determine crazy color schemes like burgundy, sky blue and neon green?

Chris-I'm amazed that you're doing the 6am exercise thing. Way to go! Pretty soon, that's about the only time of day I will survive running outside in DC. Unless I grow gills.

Last, for Todd, overtraining is definitely a curse, especially for those not into competition. My marathon training program became such a drag that I dreaded running in general. And my marathon experience totally sucked. I like races, but have decided that not all people (like me) are in it for the final chip time. My best run recently was a trail race that I just randomly entered for the fun of it. So Todd, do some workouts without the watch, outside, with no expectations for awhile and see what happens. I bet you'll catch the bug again.

Wish I could pass this great weekend weather on to all of you!

wooo whoo thank you Chris for the shout!! I am gonna need all the good vibes that I can get :)!! I went on a 70 miler today and it was so windy, I feel like I was beat to He&*(... Where will you be this weekend, If you mentioned it, I think that might have missed it :( . If you are racing good luck, training, then train smart or relaxing, you deserve it...

Smile and have a great week and an even better weekend.
